Our optometrist, Dr. Sandy Tran, graduated from Western University College of Optometry. She trained at The Villages VA Hospital in Ocala, FL, and Braverman Eye Center in Hallandale, FL. She is skilled in diagnosing and managing eye diseases like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration.
After her residency, Dr. Tran focused on vision therapy and rehabilitation. She helps patients with vision disorders, strabismus, amblyopia, and those recovering from brain injuries. She is a fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and is board certified in visual development, vision therapy, and vision rehabilitation.
Dr. Tran also volunteers with groups like Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) and the Lions Club. She has provided vision care to communities in Peru and Panama.
Outside of work, Dr. Tran enjoys traveling, yoga, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
